Pamela Arjona

Pamela graduated from Boston University with a joint BA/MA degree in Political Science. She spent her time in school writing political news articles for her school's only non-partisan political news organization, the Boston Political Review. She also participated in Semester at Sea, a multi-country study abroad program, that brought her a deeper understanding and desire for diversity and cross-cultural understanding. Her studies culminated with a master's thesis focused on the struggles Latin American immigrants face as they seek legal status in the United States. Growing up in Houston and seeing her parents, both immigrants, succeed in American society inspired her to pursue a career in immigration. Outside of the office you can find her teaching or taking a yoga class, booking her next trip, or looking for live music and dance performances in the city.
